1. Acceptance and the services

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ImageSharpen.com (“ImageSharpen”, “we”, “us”), operated by an independent owner based in India. By using the website or any of its tools, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) to use ImageSharpen. If you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business to these Terms.

ImageSharpen provides free online image tools. These include an AI-powered image sharpener and upscaler, and browser-based tools that process your files on your own device. We may add, change or remove tools or features at any time, and we may apply fair-use limits such as file size or daily request limits. No account is required.

2. Your images and acceptable use

Your images. You keep all rights in the images you upload or open in our tools. You give us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive permission to process the image only as needed to deliver the result to you, including sending it to our AI processing provider for the AI sharpener. We do not claim ownership of your images or results, and we do not use them to train AI models.

Your responsibility. You confirm that you own the images you use, or have permission to use and edit them, and that doing so does not violate anyone’s rights or any law.

Acceptable use. You agree not to:

  • Upload or process illegal content, or any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors
  • Upload content that infringes copyright, privacy or other rights
  • Use the tools to create misleading, defamatory or deceptive material, or to forge identity documents or official records
  • Attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the site, or bypass limits, security or CORS restrictions
  • Use bots or scripts to call our processing service, or call it from another website or app without permission
  • Use the site to spread malware or to harass others

We may block access or remove content that breaks these rules, without notice.

3. AI results, intellectual property, ads and links

AI results. The AI sharpener estimates missing detail, so results can differ from the original and may contain artefacts. We do not guarantee any particular quality, accuracy or fitness for a purpose. Browser-based tools, such as the wrinkle remover, work best on suitable photos and may not give perfect results. Always keep your original file and check the output before you rely on it, especially for official documents such as passport or visa photos. Each country’s rules differ, and you are responsible for checking them.

Our intellectual property. The website, its design, text, code, logos and the ImageSharpen name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site for your own personal or business needs, but you may not copy, resell, or build a competing service from it. Third-party libraries and models used by the tools remain the property of their owners under their own licences.

Advertising. The site displays ads, including from Google AdSense, and some pages may include affiliate links, which earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Ads and affiliate relationships do not influence how the tools work. We are not responsible for the products or content of advertisers.

Third-party links and services. The site may link to other websites and rely on outside services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

4. Disclaimers, liability and copyright complaints

“As is”. ImageSharpen is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that results will meet your needs.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Indemnity. You agree to cover us against claims, losses and costs arising from images you upload, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of someone else’s rights.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content processed through our site infringes your copyright, email support@imagesharpen.com, with your contact details, a description of the work, where you found the material, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We will review and act on valid notices.

5. Termination, changes, governing law and contact

Termination. You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or block access at any time, including for breach of these Terms or to protect the service.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version takes effect when posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the changes.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

General. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
